Submitted by CureSearch - Conquering Childhood Cancer

Hi everyone, we wanted to let you know that the January edition of CancerLine, the CureSearch monthly newsletter, has just been published.

This is an especially important issue because in it is a leadership message from Dr. Gregory Reaman, Chair of the Children’s Oncology Group. Dr. Reaman highlights some of the major childhood cancer research progress made by the COG in the fight to conquer childhood cancer. You can also read Dr. Reaman’s article here.

Other interesting topics this month include a recap of the Merrill Lynch Shootout PGA Golf Event, a great story about kids helping kids with cancer, and a update regarding an upcoming CureSearch Team Leader training session in Washington, DC.

Also, we want to thank everyone who braved yesterday’s blizzard and record cold in the Midwest to take part in day one of CureSearch’s fundraiser event with Claim Jumper restaurants. A reminder that the West Coast, desert Southwest, Rocky Mountain and Northwest U.S. ClaimJumpers will host their CureSearch events next Tuesday, Inauguration Day. You can find your nearest Claim Jumper location here.
